Next years competition will be even tougher to win. Phase 1 will still have the contestants dropping the cup/mug from a height of up to 12 feet high. Phase 2 will consist of all mugs being placed on a Fed Ex truck, overturning the truck on some isolated, anonymous highway, and then tying to track down the mug after it is declared lost.

Have you seen the titanium based crystal wine glasses? "Tritan"(among other brands I'm sure) They go for about $80/6 but they won't break if knocked over. I usually get a couple boxes of 12 from Ikea, but this would be a cheaper(in the long run) alternative.
