Hi-
Not sure where to post this....(I tried events, but it didn't seem right)

For interested art lovers:

I will be showing two brand new monkey/native girl paintings from my "Monkey Love" series at Roq La Rue Gallery in
an all women show (with 3 other great painters). Opening April 14th...it's called the "Ever After" show...a companion show to the "Once Upon a Time" show.

Gallery link-

These new paintings are now posted on my website and they were just featured on http://www.boingboing.net yesterday.

Check them out here:
http://www.amycrehore.com/wst_page3.php

They are the first two on this page- "The Nibbler" and "The Two Timer".

I will also be showing monkey/girl paintings in Santa Monica, CA soon (April 22nd is the grand opening of a brand new gallery) and I will post more about that later.

Thanks for looking!!

I saw the link from Boingboing and fell in love with the 3 paintings... really nice art

Have I seen the piece "Sleeping Gamblers" somewhere like a Communication Arts magazine? I swear I've seen it published! Great work!

Exotic monkey painting in Seattle Show -opens Feb 10

Monkey Love painting/Seattle art show-opens Feb 10

I know...I did the exact same thing last month! LOL

I happened to have another monkey painting in Seattle in Feb. at the same gallery, different show.

I'm doing a whole series of naughty monkeys and spreading them around the West Coast. :)

Yes. That was it. In CA Magazine... about 10 years ago!

Thanks.

Thank you so much. The people at boingboing.net have been very kind about posting my art ever since the Blab! Show last Sept.

I'm working on my 7th monkey painting now. :)

I am trying to get a feel for which images people like the best because I'm thinking about maybe having some prints made.

Amy, I love "The Nibbler". You just cant go wrong with monkeys. They always make me smile, and this piece doesnt let me down.

Ah, "The Nibbler"...that's what I was hoping for, Loki....that people here would tell me which monkey(s)they like the best. I'm sort of test marketing on this forum....taking a survey. :)

Eventually perhaps I will make prints of them all...but I need to start somewhere.

Thanks again for your nice comment on my new one!

I'm collecting comments to help me decide. :)

(There is also one more larger monkey/girl painting on the Blab site...
http://www.blabshow.com..."The Bananaeater" ...but,
I'm not allowed to make prints of that one until after "Blab!" comes out in Sept. because that will end up as a spread in
the book.)

Thanks, virani! And...I will answer your private message very soon. I had a busy day today.

I'm bumping this up because the Roq la Rue show opens this Friday April 14 from 6-10! Just a reminder for Seattle folks...if they are so inclined to go see some brand new art.

These are the two paintings I shipped up there "The Nibbler" and the "Two-Timer". First time showing anywhere.

Those are great paintings Amy, good luck with your show!
