I've notice alot of tikis have R-followed by a number. For example R-76. Does this mean the year the tiki was made? |

Actually, I only know of Orchids of Hawaii uses that nomenclature. They use an R and I am positive that it has nothing to do with date. Its just the model number used on a mug of a particular type. |

I beleive that there was no correlation to date with the R- coded Orchids of Hawaii line-up. It was more specific to the mold ID. |
