Has anyone been? Apparently, its supposed to be the oldest bar in town, located at 901 Freemont.

Does one really need to be "buzzed" in - and why? I cant imagine a historical (ie, forgotten) part of town being that bad, no one to strong arm or mug.

Yes Q-tiki has been there a few times. she loved it but it is a little on the shady side. you don't want to got there alone if female. And you don't want to start an argument with anyone....good luck.

The Atomic Bar is ZAZZ!!! Overall, it is old inside, but not too thrilling. It has great bones and I think it is underappreciated. You must go at least once. CAUTION, sometimes they close at 10pm EVEN on weekends, so go early or call first if it is late!

Thanks for the reminder, I added it to the Vegas list!

ps-it is at 971 Fremont, not the address you typed. :)
Here are a couple links about the Atomic (both from 2003)
