For those who stayed and were at the Mai Kai in 2004, you saw an incredible performance by Pualani Mossman Avon of "Lovely Hula Hands," a song written for this incredible woman. There are many tributes in Hawaii of course and her funeral is in Florida.

Thank you for sharing these articles with us. Those of who were fortunate enough to see Pualani Mossman Avon dance on the Mai Kai stage will hold that precious moment forever.

Cheers to a lovely lady who worked hard at making the world a little better.

Tonight a Tiki Torch Nights we will raise a toast to her memory and her spirit.

Sorry it is not a better picture, but she was dancing.

Her dance at the Hukilau was so great! My best wishes to her family.

We raised a toast to the memory and spirit of Pualani tonight and the Haole Cats did an amazing Lovely Hula Hands. As soon as I can get the pictures up I will share.

Not a dry eye in the house.

Unfortunately, we in Haole Kats never got to meet her, or see her dance, but it was an honor to play Lovely Hula Hands in her honor last night. It was quite beautiful to see people dancing slowly to an the song that was written for her.

RIP Pualani...
