Among other things it measures which regions are are searching for what and when you enter "Tiki" the number one place is Jakarta followed by Honolulu and San Diego. I just discovered Google Trends earlier this morning and was playing around with it. I, of course, had to enter "tiki" also. :) More interesting is to look at the trend for American Idol (which I do not watch, but that's beside the point). Interest in it builds and builds all season until the winner is declared and then interest falls off until the next season starts. And the pattern repeats... Sorry for the non-tiki aside.
