Witco Chair

I recently acquired a large wooden chair, which I was told was a Kings Chair. The tag on the bottom is from "Witco Decor, Inc." It's in fair condition, but could use a little help. Would anyone have any idea what this is or what it is worth? If I fix it up, will I be hurting the value. I could email pictures if anyone is interested.
