Sam's Seafood Seal Beach

I've read about the going away party for Sam's Seafood, but does anyone know why it's closing. If it's from forces external to the restaurant (like eminent domain) perhaps there is a way to muster up a Tiki army to oppose the closing? I'm not sure we should just accept this fate!

... they ran out of seafood, so it was either change the name or close... there were no good names chosen by the waitstaff, so they are closing...

... such a drag, eh...
