Need Help Identifying this Tiki

My fried gave me this tiki for my birthday, and I can't even begin to figure out where it came from. I guess it is more like a mask because there is a handle on the back. The thing is about 3 feet tall. Any help would be great!

Looks to be a Lombok war shield from Bali.

That top piece is not Polynesian.
