The September issue of Smithsonian magazine has an article where the author travels into the depths of the New Guinea jungle, to learn more about the Karowi people - who are known to eat other humans. No tikis are mentioned, but I guess we can file this in the 'headhunter' category. It is a fascinating article. http://www.smithsonianmagazine.com/issues/2006/september/cannibals.php Vern |

A segment of the book "Ring of Fire" by the Brothers Blair has quite a lot about mingling with Cannibals. It too is really interesting with how the characters involved are slow to confess to to partaking in in "The old ways" They supposedly hung out with the fellow who ate a Rockefeller.
