Just wondering where you folks have found lauhala mats for the cheapest price. I hope I'm not gonna hear "from the tikitrader" .... that guy is somethin' else with his prices. He doesn't take the "teacher discount." |

Thanks a lot..... I'm done with the tikitrader. I've ordered mats from him in the past, but would rather work through someone else. Thanks for the suggestion. |

LOL, you gotta love it when a 1 post member bumps up an 11 year old thread to increase their SEO links. Oh well. This forum is very kind to merchants, I guess. Although honestly, most people who are building tiki bars are not looking to get a 40ft roll of the stuff shipped from the Philippines to the US. Most of us are looking for 4ft x 8ft panels for wall covering. I don't know what the cheapest price is, but Oceanic Arts and Benson's Imports are two places that I've purchased from. http://www.bambooandthatchetc.com |

Hello Greg. LOL... Sorry I just read ur reply here.. I was just reading some thread and didn't notice the date of it. But it would be a perfect info too those who are looking to buy lauhala mats. I happened to be looking at where would people discuss about eco-friendly products. Anyway, yes the 40 feet long mat is really too long. Sorry but I am not actually selling our items here (sort of coz I've already mentioned it here. please excuse me for this) But we can actually customize with the lauhala mat size including with the strip sizes. If you notice that there are fine weave mats and 1 inch, 3/4 inch or 1/5 inch strip size. We can actually make 10 whatever sizes you need :) |

Also, I agree that shipping from the Philippines to the US really cost too much.. Shipping cost are higher than the product cost. |
