Pacific Andy,

As Augusto (that's a little Espanol!) nears, we have all the details.

Chongolio,

Lucky Designs keeps talking about getting a surfing safari going in the Summer - we'll see (?)

Maururu Tiki Bong - I will await the news.

A big ol' BUMP.
And a very Merry(?) International Tiki Day to everyone!
Especially to everybody at Festiki!

If you're in Southern California this Saturday 8/14/2010, here is a great way to celebrate International Tiki Day: http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?forum=17&topic=36364

P

I'm installing a new 7 foot tiki that Ken Kanaka brought over last week and cleaning up the Rusty Key. The rains have really beat it down and it needs some TLC on ITD ASAP, OK?

Bumperoo! Its International Tiki Day.

(Free Tiki Bong)

What are YOU doing for Tiki day? I think I'll go buy a chainsaw and work on my tiki carving for a few. Then Ima put on some Exotica in the tiki bar, mix up a tiki mai tai or two or three, barbeque some tiki beef and pork and go for a swim with my garden tikis in the backyard. Then Ima thank the tiki gods for giving me this great tiki day.

Below is the view from the jacuzzi.

Wade, ITD was yesterday.

If you're going to observe a made-up holiday then you really should celebrate it accurately. :D

lmao Thanks John! Damn, its a good thing I CELEBRATED YESTERDAY. I was looking for an excuse to celebrate today and I wanted to revive Tiki Bongs thread. I guess I'll celebrate Tiki Day + 1. (You Socal folks are so punctual)

Aren't they all made up?

Even my Birthday!!!

ITD should be like the 4th O July. You get at least 1-3 days before

or after to keep the party go'in! I did my part by posting this TC

ITD link on Face Book in the TIKI Group there. Surprised how many

people don't know about it. All good now!!! Tiki Tiki!!!

I have been carving Tikis into all the palm trees on my street
while wearing a Tiki mask, hat & cape.....
You can call me "T" for Tiki

Now "T" feels bad :( :( :(

Nah, don't sweat it. Two hundred and twenty three "Hail Lono"s and you're forgiven!

Thanks, Ben. I took a day off from the internets and I missed ITD! When I checked FB on Sunday, I read your post and thought ITD was Sunday. So after John O set me straight, I planned on making up for it. I don't really care because every day is Tiki Day to me.

I actually took ITD off from TIKI and went to a body surfing

competition that both my boys were in. It was awesome!!!

Now.... back to the TIKI grind. See you all at TIKI Highway

and TIKI Marketplace at Don's!!! Back to Back Weekends!!1
