Those are some great clips. Watching another of the Jokers clips -- Sabre Dance (definitely the coolest although non-tiki-ish) -- prompted an interesting discussion with my brother the guitar player on the history of Fender Jazzmasters and Jaquars, the guitars of choice for 1960s surf guitar players. What a sound! It's amazing what that Jokers lead guitarist was doing in 1964. Those surf guitar sounds and licks are something of a lost art!!
