2 ounces white Puerto Rican
1/2 ounce passionfruit syrup
1/2 ounce lime juice
1 ounce papaya-pineapple nectar

Shake and strain into a glass full of ice. Garnish with a lime wedge, and maybe a pineapple wheel and swirly straw if you have them lying around. :)

Do I take it that you add passionfruit syrup to this drink to add a bit of vitality to the placid tasting papaya?

I did a similar thing with a Mangorita (Mango Margarita), using passionfruit syrup instead of sugar syrup to add something to the blandness of the mango.

Well, yes, but in reverse. :) I started with a Hurricane-style drink and thought I'd see what I could do to tone it down and make it more complex without going overboard and ending up with Generic Tiki Punch. Pineapple papaya seemed like it might fit the bill, so...
