Does this sound like your dilemma?
Your friends come over and want to see your tiki mug collection.
You say …”OK, it’s over there on that white IKEA shelf”
Come on man!!!
Give those mugs some respect. Show off that collection with the right display vehicle.

Up for auction is this amazing illuminated tiki mug shelf designed and hand made by Leonardo D’Velvet for MidCentury Tiki.

The shelf is 35 inches wide by 26 inches tall. Mugs are beautifully lit from bottom lights ingeniously concealed in the bamboo edge. Hand crafted wooden tikes on each end with light shinning through the eyes and mouth. The shelf holds 25+ mugs as shown. It is ready to hang with two screws (included) through pre-drilled holes 16 inches apart (for wall studs). Plugs in with a 12-foot cord.

Beautiful by day…. amazing effect at night.
…. Do I have to say it?........mugs not included.

Very cool. As it was in classic Tiki bars, in home bars and displays sensitive LIGHTING is a factor that sould not be underestimated! Everything should glow mysteriously.

Kool shelf! Love the night pic :)

I reckon it would look great with burning the bamboo or a dark stain, so that the bamboo matches the ends more.
