It's the clue (8 Down) for today's New York Times crossword. It is 7 letters.
Any guesses?

a muumuu?
a sarong?

"Dead pig"?

Oh, I guess you don't actually wear those to luaus...

Wait: "Pig guts" (if you eat messily)?

I'd better stop.

n-o-t-h-i-n-g (If it's a really GOOD luau! :) )

What about flowers? Do you have the answer yet? let us know!

is "wear" plural, I would say "moomoos";

can you wear a "ukulele?" i am so curious now....

D

I guess you could wear 1 "coconut" to a luau.

Try "lavalava"....it's the pareo, or sarong that the guys wear......Like I've seen pics of Gecko wearing

Oops! one letter too long...ummm...how about a "poi grin" ? Hell, I dunno...damned New York Times....

Hum--how was I to know it was plural:
"SARONGS" is the correct answer.

hmf I think our answers were a LOT more creative than the silly NY Times'!
