Freaki-Tiki Show at Safari Sam's March 11th!

Aloha everybody!

I just wanted to drop a note that the group I perform with, the Freakshow Deluxe, is putting on a Freaki-Tiki variety show in Hollywood, Ca at Safari Sam's and I'm including the flyer for the show. It's a fun time and an all ages crowd! And Safari Sam's is home to a really great restaraunt called Machete, where you can even pick up a great meal while enjoying the show!

I know it's on a Sunday, but that's why we're opening the doors at 6! So you can have a great time and be back in bed with enough time for sleep and stuff so you're refreshed for the "W" place on Monday!!

If you do come on out, please make sure to say "Aloha!" My stage name is The Devil's Plaything and can be recognized by the tropical floral wings tattooed on my upper back! :D

Can we get alittle more description of what this is?

It seems like a freak show,but not sure.

is there any bands playing? If so is that what the Seamen are?
what style music is it if they are a band?

I'm not sure what they are doing these days but years ago when I saw the Seamen they were doing industrial noise with loads of percussion. In addition they would sometimes throw in mechanical performances ala SRL (Survival Research Labs) such as combative gasoline powered robots.

Normally, our shows are a more like a Coney Island Style Sideshow (complete with sword swallowers, fire eaters, human blockheads, burlesque dancers, glass walkers, etc). However, one of our guys got the bright idea to create a story line to this show, combining the sideshow acts with tiki themes!

We will be following escape artist Joe Fox get stranded on our "deserted island", one that he believes is inhabited by "savages" and most of the acts we'll see are his fantasies/nightmares of what he believes inhabits the island. Complete with Polynesian dancers, a Human Tiki, a coconut girl, and much much more, we will find out what is truely going on on this tropical island! Will Joe escape his suspected fate??? Are they really there to eat him or to seduce him on their tropical paradise??

There will be one band playing, The Seamen from Orange County, who are an upcoming punk band. They'll be opening for the show.
