King Kukulele Presents Tiki Taix XXXIII Friday April 27th!!

All the King's Horses and All the King's Men didn't realize that due to a glitch this posting didn't post when it was supposed to, here it is in all it's tardiness!

We'll lift a glass of Tiny Bubbles and say Aloha to the King of Waikiki, Don Ho 1930-2007

Special guest Ali Lexa, radio personality and ukulele player deluxe returns. Ali Lexa hosts a regular ukulele series on local public radio station KPFK. Ali will bring news of his latest project which will liven up the ukulele scene in July.

AND

Once again the night comes alive with Paradise Polynesian style as Akemi returns with some of SoCals finest hula dancers. In their own special way, they will say goodbye to Don Ho. He would have wanted it this way.

PLUS

King Kukulele will pay his respects to the great Don Ho with a selection of his more memorable tunes, including Don's version of Quiet Village with lyrics.

ALSO

Part IV “Duke Kahanamoku – This Is Your Life!” from 1957. See Duke as he is surprised by his old team mate Johnny Weissmuller. It was with Johnny that Duke and Sam Kahanamoku took the Gold, Silver, and Bronze in one Olympic competition. Then we hear the tale of a life and death experience for Duke in Newport Beach, Ca.

Godzilla Vs. The Moai Men...you heard right! We'll show a rare clip from a rare movie in which an underground society on Easter Island who are worshipping an underground Moai call upon Godzilla's enemy, Megalon, to destroy earth. This you gotta see.
