New Tiki/Exotica album cover art book in the works!

He's got a nice selection already and has maybe already contacted a few of you with exotica websites, but I told him I'd start a post to collect info. Rather than post the covers which would make everyone crazy (many photos are already in other posts) , how 'bout posting the album info. Title, LP #, etc. (or a link to the post with the photo) Then he can cross reference and get in touch with people later. If you wouldn't be comfortable sending your album somewhere for photographing that's understandable, but hopefully some of it can be done with scans, email, and photoshop! It's all Exotica album covers. It's called something like EXOTICOPIA or something like that (or maybe I'm thinking of Pornocopia: Going Down in the San Fernando Valley). How is this book going to be different? Curious, Louis

It doesn't appear to be strickly exotica, but mostly a "swanky" album cover art book judging from the preview on Amazon. It would be cool to see a book of Polynesian music album covers from the 50's & 60's too. There's a ton of Hawaiian, Tahitian and "Island" LPs from that era and many have very cool, tropical album covers. Good luck on the book!!!
