Duke Kahanamoku Biography

I'm after a biography of Duke Kahanamoku. There seem to be a fair few biography's of him out there, so does anyone have any recommendations?

Not really a biography, but...

Have you seen the movie "The Ride"?

It is a story about a modern, cocky surf champion that wipes-out during a competition and gets rescued by Duke back in Old Hawaii. It is pretty corny and the acting leaves something to be desired, but in the end I really enjoyed this movie. They really did a good job of showing Oahu the way it must have been back in the old days (when there was only one hotel in Waikiki).

Pretty cheesy, but enjoyable never-the-less. They sell it on Amazon or you can rent it from Netflix.

Now, hopefully someone else can help you find a real bio-pic.
