I called the Hard Rock Gift Shop today and found that they had some of the limited edition Mondo Tiki Hurricane glasses left. The assistant said that there were not that many left. I was also able to get a T-shirt in XL from the event. The Glasses were about $12, she thought, and the shirt was about $18. I already forgot. The link below is from a Hula Hula post showing pics from the event. You can see what the shirt and the Hurricane glass look like.

According to the hard rock - the "mondo Tiki" mug was only available at the pool and they have none. However, they do have some of the pictured shirt in medium.

The hurricane glass in the gift shop has the same logo as the T-shirt ($20) and there's a white men's tank top with the logo. What made me drool was the $1,000 tiki farm(?) bar with the two Shag stools that I had thought were sold out. The mugs and decanter were printed with the Hard Rock logo on back.

To clarify, the hurricane glass available in the shop is not the same as the Mondotiki mug which was plastic (no glass at the pool).

CJ, the Mondo Tiki mug was not plastic, it was ceramic and was sold by Tiki Farm exclusively that day. See this thread:

Yes, the first poster mentioned hurricane glasses. There were hurricane glasses in the gift shop, Shag's Mondo Tiki mugs in the vendor area and plastic mugs at the bars.

..and there's a white men's tank top with the logo..

A tank top just for white men!!??! Well, I for one will stand in resolute protest of this discriminatory merchandising practice! Men and women of all colors should be given an equal opportunity to buy endless swag! The Hard Rock should know better, and Shag shouldn't lend his name to such Euro-centric exclusionism.

Hey hey ho ho,

I received my hurricane glasses and tee shirt yesterday. I was happy with them except that they did not say Mondo Tiki on them. They had the great Shag images, but only had Hard Rock Cafe on them.

I would still buy them.

Cheers,

KT
