this carved pebble(?) is very interesting. do you know what type of stone it is? tama already has all my disposable income committed. ouch. |

Hi prairie jade , it's a greywacke beach pebble. In this case the ends have been ground off to get the right shape, but the back and the high spots on the front are still natural surfaces. I use this type of stone almost exclusively and design each tiki around the natural profile of the stone (which is usually unaltered).
