It just really really sucks that we can't make it.

Have a great time everyone and photos are expected...

Everyone still in?

Still in and planning to be costume clad, or at least scary looking. Looking forward to it!

This is my costume! Still in & looking forward to an exotic drink! See everyone after the tasting!

I'm still in! My costume will be rather lame (think Indiana Jones on vacation) but I'll still be dressed a little bit differently than my normal Tiki-self.

Also I'm going to bring up some cinnamon infused sugar syrup. We can maybe crack into some of the Sippin' Safari cocktails which require the Don's mix.

See everyone soon!!!

I'm SOOOO bummed I had to leave early!

I had a great time!

Bargoyle and Jess, as usual were the best hosts imaginable!

Scottes is one well informed Rum Guy!!!

And events with the NorthEast Tikiphiles are always a great hang!

Alrighty then, I'll stop with the exclamation points. I imagine those who took part in all the Rum tasting want me to stop yelling. :)

Thanks Scottes, Bargoyle and the FOM.

You missed what was probably Waitiki's best concert to-date.

I have to second what Granite Tiki said: huge thank yous to Bargoyle and Jess for their great hospitality, Scottes for the highly informative tasting and his wonderful syrups and to Johnman for his fabulous cinnamon syrup. Thanks to everyone else for your company. We had a great time!

Mahalo nui loa to Bargoyle and Jess for being such great hosts and to Scottes for sharing both his knowledge AND his wonderful rums.
It was great seeing the New England ohana again.
And Bargoyle - fabulous tiki bar. I'm awed. I'm trying to convince Lilikoi...

Great time yesterday and a most interesting drive home.
Cant wait for the next get-together.
rapscallion

thank you again for a great time!

Hey! When did you two get there?!??!

Did Wai Tiki really play or is pappy pulling my Dildo's Bumbo?

That's what I forgot to mention, I loved that Dildo's Bumbo!

Soon I'll post the great Tiki Finds that I picked up at Tag Sales in Bargoyle's neck of the woods!

Hello all......... Fun was had .......too much fun........too much rum!~
Thanks to Bargoyle and Jess for a ridiculously fun event - lotsa laughs, lotsa rum!
Thanks to Scottes - great rum-ology, helping us to be better rum drinkers!
It Was great to see you ALL again and continue our conversations and laughs.
The opportunity to imbibe with such afficionados is not taken lightly nor unrealized.
Thanks to the Man from U.n.c.l.e. (CQ) and Mrs Roper (VL) for being you!
Thanks to the Mayor of Exotica and his mad bartending skills.

Most of all thanks again to Bargoyle, Jess, the Lono Lounge and the FOM for a great day!

Here's the other side of that one:

SBiM and Tikisgrl, thanks for the great pictures. Most of ours were taken with our amazing RUM-O-VISION camera and look about like this:

I weep as I read the thread......I am so sorry I missed this!

This was one awesome event! Big Mahalo's out to Bargoyle, Jess and Scottes for putting together a great night. Bargoyle and Jess an extra special thanks for letting me crash at your place. Nothing better than free lodging!

It was great seeing everyone again and hopefully I'll see some (if not all!) of you at the next big event on 11/18:

11/18/07 - WAITIKI and Beach Bum Berry present an Exotic Sippin' Safari

So where are those pics Johnman??? I'll have some for you tomorrow evening...

Great pix, thanks to all for posting! It was, indeed, a wonderful event. I only regret that I had to leave so soon! Somehow I have to arrange for the next one to happen on a night that I don't have to leave for a gig.

Thanks, Scottes, for a most informative, intoxicating presentation, and to Bargoyle & Jess, for the wonderful hospitality and shwag, and to all who contributed and participated. I had a great time!

S

I just got back from NYC not long ago and I finally have some time to sit and relax....

It was a great time, and thanks so much to Bargoyle & Jess for a wonderful setting and after-party. Thanks to all you guinea pigs for putting up with my first rum presentation - especially for putting up with those white rums at the beginning!

I had a great time, and I'm glad you all enjoyed a little bit of rum!
