not sure what to make of this...it was brought to my attention recently...sounds totally pretentious....

I contacted these people back in August to see what their 'deal' was.

Their goal is to put Captain Morgan out of business (good, but it isn't going to happen), but their recommended cocktail is a 'Kilo and Coke' (they deny that the clumsy drug reference was on purpose).

Mixing a good rum with Coke is like putting catsup on a steak (ruins it), while mixing Coke with shitty rum is like putting catsup on a low-quality burger (makes it bearable - maybe).

These people are recommending that you mix their rum with Coke right out of the gate.
Do the math.

if i am not mistaken, it's the folks behind effen vodka that are producing this stuff......and yes, the word " effen" is yet another of their cute little plays on words they seem to be so proud of.......

So thats whats in a Grog! No wonder Phil did what he did.

gotta love marketing...sell the unsuspecting 2 of your products at one time!!

Has anyone tried this rum? Unlike Redrum where I'd gladly try it without any other reviews, Kilo Kai just seems...gimmicky. I don't want to waste good money on mediocre rum.
