It's 72 right now in Orlando with a forecasted high of 83 tomorrow. There's a reason I put up with our scorching summers. |

It's still aloha wear in my basement but outside we are in the middle of an ice storm here in Kazoo. I'll have to pour hot buttered rum on my car door to get it open in the morning. It's actually warmer today than it has been in W. TX. But I'm warming my blood with some zombies and mai-tai recipes. Don't know if I'm getting' close to TV's recipe, but I'm gettin' close but I'm feeling some kind of results. |

Being born and raised in California, I admit to knowing nothing of cold weather, and still hold an idyllic, albeit naive, concept of weather. I really work to remain humble and not say, "Brrrrr, it's freeeezing!" when it's only 50. I doff my hat to my fellow TCers who in habit less hospitable climes. Take care, stay warm and safe. |

Snowbird time in Laughlin, NV area. Lots of (casino) charter flights from cold places too. We'll be in the 70s today, the only downside of which is that I have no excuse not to go out and do some painting on the sundeck / patio cover. Warm weather is tiki. |

All of you are crazy! Snow is a four-letter word you know. All of you need to come down our way... a low of 70 tonight, a high in the low 80's tomorrow. And! We have at least fifty more years until the Al Gore effect raises sea levels to the second floor of the house. Most of us will be too old to do anything at that point and I am hoping too soused to notice. |
