Price blowout! Aloha Kanes and Wahines! We are feverishly working on the new Tiki Daze wall calendar. It's giving me late nights and weird dreams. This is a grassroots effort. Just me and Ms. Swanky, working to make this happen. We're excited about the project and the product. We are sure it's going to thrill and excite those who happen upon it. What we need are more ways to spread the Tiki throughout the land using the various tools science has made available to us. That means you, tiki lover! (or liker, as the case may be) What we are looking for are retail stores you know of that would be good candidates to carry the calendar. Vintage shops, comics stores, funky, fresh, and other. Alternative book stores. You know what we mean. We want to send promo material to the right places. So please tell me what you know. If you have the address, cool, if not, I'll find it. Just tell us the name and city and state. Also, add us to your MySpace friends. We are here. The new website should be up next week and we'll start taking orders. Mahalo nui loa!

Happy Trails in Alameda has a store in the busiest part of downtown and an online store as well. They seem to have cut back a bit on their tiki stuff in the past year, but still have a few of the kitschy type things, as well as some Tiki Farm mugs. |

Another place to try - in Sonoma County near Sonoma State U. "North Light Books and Cafe". I have seen Tiki Farm mugs there and all kinds of cool things! http://www.northlightbook.net/ Good Luck, Swanky! Great calendar cover. |

Cool. I had Junkman's and Atomic, but not the others. I can't wait to have it in my hands either. I'm excited just by the postcards! BTW, the website had problems for those who use FireFox. That browser did not handle the css correctly. It's fixed. So, if you wondered where the content was in your FireFox browser, try us again. Be sure to subscribe to the newsletter and get the free tiki desktop wallpaper and all the future ones too! |

Virginia is not a treasure trove of tiki goodness but World of Mirth here in Richmond carries a good selection of Tiki Farm mugs and some other bits of tiki. Good luck. |

As so often in life, the thing about this project that seemed so simple and sure has become an issue. We thought we would have the calendars in hand by now, but instead found out our printers can't have it going until mid-December! So, we have a new printer and think we will have it by the end of the month and out to you who have ordered in early December. Why must everything be some complicated? |

Sorry I missed this topic earlier. If you are still looking for retailers try contacting Freedom Surf Shop in Virginia Beach. If you call ask for Dave, he's my friend that owns the shop. He leaves by 5 everyday though. |

The calendar has finally gone to the printers and it just flat rocks! It turned out really incredible. The only calendar you would ever hang in your Tiki Space. Well, maybe Shag, but, it still would not work like this one will. Get on over to Tiki Daze and reserve yours now and you'll have it in your hand and on your wall in no time! Anyone who will be in Seattle for the Jetset Junket home bar tour will get to see it first. I am sending a couple directly to them from the printers and you will get it before I do! |

The Tiki Daze calendar will debut at the Shag opening. Very cool. You guys in Seattle will see it before I do! If you want to get the calendar in Seattle and get it first, now is your chance. Just send me a note along with your payment and I'll send you calendar directly there from the printers. There is a very small window for this, so let me know now! |

Me and the Athens/Atlanta Tiki Centralites are pretty excited about getting ours. The work and travel that went into it I know was tremendous, as well as the rarity of the golden-era pieces pictured therein. Having seen it, I'd say if you own Tiki Quest or either one of Sven's books this one is a must-have. |

So glad you guys like it. Much much work paid off. We're very proud of it! Just got out from under the pile of 250 orders. You'll soon be getting it if you ordered already and you can soon pick one up at the Freaky Tiki Retro Deck in Portland, Junkman's Daughter in Atlanta, a couple of places in Athens, GA, and Jonny's Speed Shop in Cedar Rapids, plus a few places in Kyoto... If your business would like to carry them, gimme an email. Thanks for ordering and thanks for the kind words! p.s. The Mai Kai calendar page a day has temporarily stopped while I struggle to hand wrap all these orders. It should resume in a bit... |

For years we have used the ABC store calendar for a touch of Hawaii, no more, we have upgraded to the Tiki Daze calendar for photos of fun mugs and more. This made a wonderful gift for Dan. It's worth saving so we won't be writing appointments on this one, thank you, Wendy |
