eBay: Mr Bali Hai (ebay)

Not my sale but I thought the picture of it was super high quality. Not only that, but you can see a large pic of all the detail.

I was checking over the pic and noticed something that doesn't match to the condition stated.

Don't know the seller but see if you can see it.

Mr Bali Hai

The eyes have been re-painted. A common thing as the cold paint on those were very poor quality and scratched off very easily. Look on Ooga-Mooga to see similar paintjobs.

In fantastic condition with no chips or cracks.

I found a crack in it somewhere

I'm pretty sure that's from the mold. I've got several of these guys with that same mark - extending from eye to eye - and they're definitely not cracked.

Here is what I gt back from the seller

Yikes! Good eyes! We hadn't noticed it before. I was more concerned with the edges at the top, bottom and lid.

I'll inform the bidders that they can retract their bids. And I've added a note to the auction. In case the high bidder doesn't see the added note, then they can choose to not complete the sale. I'll then relist with a better description.
