Thanks for the link, I had missed that. Sometimes I see in Eric Felten's column that he quotes the Beachbum. I had clipped out this one and saved it. http://online.wsj.com/public/article/SB118798701049208213.html
I was thinking he was featured in the Mai Tai column but i guess not! http://online.wsj.com/article/SB118316316127753707-search.html?KEYWORDS=mai+tai

Great article, But from what I read from my history books is that the Zombie was created at the 1939 World fair!!!!!! I don't know if that's true but several sources point to that!!!!!!Keep the knowledge
coming!!!!!!!!

The Zombie was created by Donn Beach in the early 30's. It was featured at the 1939 World Fair and gained wider spread popularity.

You are correct sir!!!! Sorry for not having the full story. Two book's I own, Give the recipe and a little back story (starting with the world's fair). But a little time on the internet and your post make Wildsville a better peep!!!!DIG?

If stupidity is a crime, "I am Guilty" as Charged!!!

O

Daddio Wildsman, did you get the Grog log yet? If yes then you need Intoxica, Taboo Table and Sippin Safari. Then we can talk.
You have some catching up to do Daddio.
Glad to see your avoiding the B rum in the new year.

No, (as we now know), but THIS was created at the 1939 World's Fair:

:D not so shabby either, eh? ...albeit totally unrelated to Polynesian pop mixology...well, maybe very distantly.

The construction was done by people with no sleep and a lot of zombie's in there system!!!!!

So It's totally related

...but for the true relation of Dali to Don you will have to wait until....The BOOK OF THE BEACHCOMBER!
