Yaah, it is that time of the year, where I will have to make withdrawals from my "Collectible account", turning rare and wondrous curiosities into pay, pal! We begin with this little folly, a fine ceramic masterpiece if I ever saw one. Have YOU, other than in my books? If not, here is your chance not only behold but HOLD this valuable vessel:

It is this vintage artifact line that inspired Gecko's glaze craze. It is glowing, it is HOT! ....it is fire frozen in time!

But there is more! Like this pinnacle of Polynesian pop pottery, Maori mug madness that is a must-have for your collection!:

And then this funny fella, taken from a New Guinea spirit hook design:

If you have the Oceanic Arts mask inspired by this, you must have this mug! If you do not, you still must have this mug! ....must have this mug ...must have this mug...

Remember him? Well I still had one stashed away:

They ain't makin'em anymore....

... and the going price is 500.- and up, so here is your chance to grab one for less.

This guardian deity wants to tom tom in YOUR enchanted Tiki Room!

(How about that for obnoxious sales pitching? :) )

...I just looked what e-bay offers under "Tiki Paintings" (not that the above ARE) -and YIKES! ...what a few talented artists have to mingle with !!!

These are very vintage Vitco, from the early 60s, vhen they did some of their best stuff in my opinion:

Look at that cool stamp, with the W made up from three different textured triangles! :)

I am bringing this to your attention again, folks. So far, the Maori mug is a bargain, the poor PNG mug is unloved, and NOBODY likes that poor little Lei-girl, boohoo-sniff-!

Nothing against the Lei-girl but sadly you tiki jetsetters only take paypal.

Wellll...if she is orphaned without foster parents, let's talk about it :)

...but then again, if there are NO bids, I'd rather keep her than sell her for 53.- bucks. This just is not the right time to sell aything on e-bay ...but I must.
