Will it be made with the Manischewitz? And will the Vicar of Liquor be there to pass judgement? Discuss!

Mai Tai -
The Mazel Tov Cocktail is Maneschewitz free, (ingredient list included in the liner notes of "Let's Go Shleppin'!") though a Maneschewitz chaser it always a good thing.

J

Well, I drove over about 4:20 and there was a long line of people waiting to get in. Knowing that few people would be leaving during the first set, at least, I decided I didn't want to stand in line for what would probably be at least 30 minutes.

Hope you all are enjoying the show! I might try to swing by around 6:00.

Thanks to all of you who came out today. It was a blast! We should be able to make this a regular gig, so all of you who missed out this time, you'll get another chance.

ElDorado Rum - who knew!!! :D

Shecky Shekels

I heard the place was crazy packed.
Great job guys,and Gal. :)

when I got up at 9 am on Sun. I almost decided to drive up solo.
but reality dawned on me.
and went to a rockabilly Brunch show in Hollywood instead.
with 3 really good bands.

but I did wear my Meshugga Beach Party t-shirt.

Oy, when we got there just a little before 4pm, the parking lot was FULL (luckily, we brought the little Zenn, so we were able to squeeze in next to the bikerack - tee hee....). So many people, the band was schpritzing like mad (reminded me of that song by Two Live Jew, "Oy, it's so Humid!"). Great double set, boychikz. I left fahklempt....

P.s. Mahalo all who tried the next iteration of The Mai Tai Pie. And, HEY! It's Kosher for Passover!!!

Video from the Meshugga Beach Party show at Forbidden Island in Alameda, California, on Sunday March 30, 2008. A shayner danke to Ferenc "Hyman" Dobronyi, honorary member of the tribe, for guiding the camera so well under the influence of impressively intoxicating libations, and a double danke to everyone who came to the show!

Here are some of my pics of the afternoon.

First in line to see Star Wars! Wooooo!

Menachem is showing of the drinking of the Mazel Tov.

Gary enjoys some Mai Tai pie, courtesy of Thayer. I had to pass, lactose intolerance.

These folks came for the early bird special.

Time for a little Manachewitz chaser.

Meshugga Mel shows us how it's done!

Time to dance the Hora.

Finishing strong!

Ah, Manachewitz all gone. Say it ain't so, Schlomo!

What a great way to spend a Sunday, watching Meshugga Beach Party at Forbidden Island. Glad to hear that they are going to do more shows there. I'll be there! Maybe next time I can shoot some video clips. Much thanks to Mel, and the whole Meshugga Beach Party gang! Mazel Tov!

Thanks for posting those Bill.

what time did you get there?
if I come up next time, I dont want to get stuck outside.
