My parents gave me a fabulous framed giclee print of a watercolor painting, of the extinct Bali Ha'i On the Beach in New Orleans. Bali Ha'i was in the Pontchartrain Beach amusement park, and the painting includes the Zephyr roller coaster in the background (which I rode as a child). That's nicely done. Taken straight from a vintage postcard photo (sans Zephyr). I forgot if that postcard or just its matchbook cover rendering is in the BOT. |

Thanks for that info BigBro. I have been wondering if she could do one of the Mai Kai from a postcard. Does anyone know if there is anyone painting the Mai Kai? |
