New Tiki paintings for DVA Tiki Gala

Pages: 1 9 replies

Here are the tiki paintings I sent to DvA Gallery for this year's annual Tiki Gala.
This time I decided to have a little fun at the expense of two of (in my opinion)the most famous and goofiest looking tiki mugs. The first one is called Lucky Bob and the second is Belly Hai

Really enjoy the Belly Hai. Looks like they were cut out

they are cut out of masonite and glued on risers for a 3D effect

Thanks a lot for all the positive feedback! Here are a coupla tiki paintings I did for the tiki show running currently at the M Modern Gallery in Palm Springs. I tried something a little different this time, making the tikis out of images of Eames chairs. kind of a Mid Century Modern thing going on.

I really like your unique designs. Beautifully done.
