Is "Ohana" a true word for "family"? or is it a new (50yrs or so) developed word or something else. My wife wants to get a tattoo of 5 honu representing all family members with the word "Ohana" under it and I was wondering if the word would be suitable?? If not could someone please give me a Hawaiian substitute. Mahalo |
