May I present the newest mug discovered deep in the jungles of VanTiki Island: Do not be so eager to reach out and touch the stone idol resting within the Monkey God’s mouth! The Monkey God has been guarding it for hundreds of years, and will only allow great warriors, chiefs, or powerful healers to tap into the mana contained within the stone deity. What happens if you reach into the Monkey’s mouth and you are deemed “not worthy”? Well, let’s just say that the Monkey God is a lot faster than he looks, and that those big teeth aren’t just for show! This big fellow is crafted out of hand-built high-fire stoneware with porcelain details and a hand-pressed ceramic medallion in the mug's mouth. I can't tell you how happy I was when I got my first peek at the finished mug when I cracked open the kiln! More info plus a ton of photos can be found on my site and the ebay auction.
