Aloha Pea! They never answer their phone, and all communication must be done via email. This is difficult, I understand, as I like to get things straightened out quickly. My last 2 orders (over $150 each order) were perfect and the flowers proved to be very fresh by lasting for a couple weeks. Even at Christmas time! I don't have any information on the others you listed. Good Luck! If you do find a great vendor, please let us know! Mahalo! |

Well, this may not be what you had in mind for your mom, but I've ordered from Exotic Orchids of Maui (mauiorchids.com) & I was really happy with the plants I received. Of course, they're plants, not just a bouquet, & she'd have to take care of them, but you'd be surprised at how low care most orchids are (& a nice reminder of the giver). |

This place is amazing, they do all kinds of ginger/orchid arrangements but the specialty is leis, and they do the freshest, most beautiful ones I've ever seen. The website doesn't do the leis justice. The lady who runs the place is Hawaiian, her shop keeps getting bigger and better all the time. Good stuff. (I'm wearing one of their leis to the next Oasis, closer to the event please Tikiwinebear, if yer coming remind me and I'll take orders for a bunch of them and make a Lei run!) Ohana Creations |

Maui Goose: My wife and I have used them several times. They even did our wedding. I've had them deliver here to the UK too. Super nice and never any problems! |

For any of you in the Portland-Vancouver area, Zupan's Markets always has a good selection of fresh tropical flowers. I regularly buy tropicals from them for summer luaus we host and for my wedding anniversary. http://zupans.com/locations.php |

I once got really awsome flowers from this London flower delivery - they seem to have branches all over the world. A really good friend who I met during an exchange semester sent them to me and as she knows I am into everything tropic the bouquet was full with lovely tropical flowers. |

I would always first check with a Florist local to the area (although I understand obtaining tropical flowers in the Pacific Northwest in the winter is a non-starter). |

I've had terrific luck with Hawaiian Greenhouse on the Big Island - they grow and ship mostly anthuriums, which are excellent and last for weeks or months. I've sent my aunt anthuriums for Christmas, and damned if she still doesn't have a few at Easter. |

I read this thread in the vain hope that someone might deliver to the UK and you came up trumps, Chris! Mahalo! You missed a great night out in June, by the way... have to plan another... |
