fake lava rock fireplace

Pages: 1 4 replies

I have a brick fireplace wouldlike to cover with some kind of fake lava rock panels anyone knowwhere I might find something ? I did a yahoo search came up empty

Aloha!

'Faux Lava Stone' and 'Lava Veneer' help initiate that search. I've looked myself and it is tough to find this as a building material.

Here are a couple links...

Manufacturer: http://www.eldoradostone.com/hawaii/

Do-it-yourself: http://www.rockmolds.com/

Looks like Eldorado Stone would be a quality product but needing to find a local distributor willing to order for small purchase?

I hope this helps...

I was just talking the other day with someone about a new concrete product that can be made to look like anything from stone to ceramic tile. easy to work with. But of course now that I need to share the info I cant remember what its called. But I do remember looking it up and the product comes with molds to shape it into the kinds of stone you desire. I bet I saved it to my favorites list. When I find it again I will edit my post to add a link Dawn
