Maybe they just skipped the middleman and released them directly to thrift stores, knowing they would all end up there anyway in the course of time. |

...and for those of us who have a tendency to scavenge through dumpsters and roadside residential trash piles, you can count on running across one of these black torcheire lamps at the same rate or more as you'd run across an owl or a Mitch Miller album or a Herb Albert album at a thrift shop.
