Danny, was lookin at this beauty again and was wondering where the opening is?

It looks to me like there is an elliptical-shaped opening that wraps over the top of the head.

an elliptical-shaped opening , that is how he did it on Exotica 05- mug which has similar styling

Thanks folks, I had fun making this one. I had this in the works for a while and put a undercover "new marq mug coming soon" on my ID a while back. My whale tooth flask jump it's turn and came out first. I am going in a different direction with the edition of mugs and going for smaller runs now.

The opening does have and elliptical shape to it and the back has carved detail kind of like the whats on the forehead. I'll get a pic up when I get a chance.
