What a year it's been! But after much delay, I was able to fix a bunch of stoopid little things with Tiki Central and get 5 Year Grand Memberships activated.

To signify 5 years of Grand Membership, I'm rolling out a new emblem: the Golden Pinwheel!

Important notes:

If you re-registered a 5 year Grand Membership before today:

Check to see if you've got the golden pinwheel next to your posts. If you don't, please send me a personal message explaining the situation.

If you feel you've received an expiration notice before your membership should have expired:

Check to see if your Grand Membership was reinstated by checking your status next to your posts. If you're not a Grand Member, please send me a personal message explaining the situation.

Sorry for all the hiccups, delays, and notices! I appreciate everyone's continued support of Tiki Central! I could not do this without the help of everyone.

just as an FYI -- partly why I held off on updating GMs was that we had a server hiccup which was kinda a pain-o-the-ass to fix. It will killing a lot of minor stuff, but I have fixed it so:

You should also not see the crazy error you'd see when you'd sign up (like mentioned here)

AND

Your Ooga-mooga mug count should be working again.

AND

Critiki Locations should appear on posts (when they've been tagged, like this one)

If you were a grand member, but are not on anymore, and would like to once again become one, just go to the Grand Membership page and sign up. It is the same as a renewal.

Out of curiosity, what made you decide on a pinwheel? Was it based on the one in the TC background image?

In the spirit of Aloha and the fragrant Hawaiian lei, shouldn't the "pinwheel" be relabeled as a plumeria - which also can have 4 symmetrical leaves (OK 5, but who is counting)?
