Hey everyone...I'm pretty new to the boards here but I've been watching and carving for a while now. I rarely sell stuff on Ebay too, mostly just to friends and family so far...however I decided to start listing some stuff just to see what happens. Tell me what you think....

.....nice lookin shelves....I like em'!!......you would really clean up at a tiki fest like oasis or hukilau...but those shipping costs are gonna sink you...at these prices i don't know if ebay is the best avenue to sell these....it's a shame you live so far from us....

Thanks...Yeah, I knew the shipping from here was going to be a factor. I sold one on ebay a few years ago and underestimated the shipping for the winner so I ended up paying it out of pocket. I was just stoked to see someone wanted one!

Those are very nice! I'm interested in bidding, could you possibly either post the dimensions here or on your auctions? Would be good to know overall height & width plus shelf depth & clear shelf width.

the shelfs are killer bruh! they'd be great for my auntie genoa keawe and bruddah IZ cds.

about the shipping, i remember back in the day, my room-mates using these shady bulk rate shippers, that was going from seattle back to hawaii, i wonder if they do the reverse. they got the post office beat by about half or so, but it took a few months to get the goods.

I think you can still do a "parcel post" rate which is considerably cheaper, but you're right it takes a long time. I ordered something a while back from someone on the mainland, but it literally took like 4 weeks...I was about to file a claim on the person when it showed up.

Pupukea,
Your shelves are great, NICE WORK bra! Next time I'm over on Oahu I'd like to pick one up from you if have one available.. Now that USPS goes by size more there going to cost a little more to ship, If there was a way to remove the shelves on them prior to shipping that might bring the price down, I think they'll sell even if the shipping costs more..
Aloha

Awesome shelves, dude! Check all shipping options & give us dimensions. Can you dismantle them for shipping? You'll definitely have some customers here if you can work out the shipping.

Thanks for the kind words...I went back and posted dimensions for all 3 on the Ebay listings, the only one that actually disassembles is the single shelf, the other two double shelves are doweled and glued. It looks like Parcel Post USPS can be as low as $25 or so to the west coast, but it will definitely take longer.
