why would you announce that here??...now others that may want it might bid the thing up till you pay out the nose....never draw attention to something you want on ebay in these forums..till the auction is over and you have won the item..the shout it from the rooftops!!

Good advise Tipsy - NEVER announce your interest to the world before the auction has ended.

Another thing I've learned the hard way - you never know just how many like items the seller has for sale! Patience is key in any negotiation.

There may be 2 or 3 or ? sitting in a box in the sellers garage. Just food for thought.
