Art Show Opening in Silverlake July 20

My friend Ellen Bloom is having an opening on Sunday July 20th. The show is called "The F*ck Stops Here!" They are a series of small paintings are imbued with vintage feminine icons. One of the paintings is called Tiki Girl.

Beautiful work. I particularly like the use of the red and orange hues which give the work a certain vibrancy.

My favorite is Trader Vic's.

I like the tiki art explosion of late. First Shag A-Z and now this.
