Special Bamboo Material

I am searching for a special bamboo product.
I would like to locate a bamboo mat (at least 4'x3') that is made up of very thin and narrow bamboo slats bound to rigid substrate. What I want to do is use this material in automobile door panels and headliners, so it needs to be a little rigid, as thin as possible and capable of being bonded or fastened to other items (and mounted upside down and vertically).

Anyone every run across something like that?

I suggest woven bamboo veneer. It's very thin yet rigid. I used the woven 1 ply standard weave for my ceiling, it takes stain very well. They're located in Seattle but ship all over the place.
