Help Me Identify This 10' Canoe

Is this a ceremonial piece? Tourist? Ten feet long but only 7" wide and 5" deep. Has over 16' of Cassowary feathers on the edges. My guess is Gogodala......but not sure. This came with it. Mahalo |

Nice piece! U should put it in the tiki boats thread. I am not sure of the exact tribe but many of these "spirit canoes' are used briefly for a burial ceremony and discarded. They used to be burnt or left in the bush etc. but are now often sold for the tourist market as their usefulness has been completed. S |

If I'm not mistaken this canoe was used by the Anorexia tribe. |
