My first carving is Florida oak and I carved it in Florida.




Second carving is eucalyptus wood and also carved in Florida.



This is Florida cedar carved in Michigan.

You are on your way to become a fine carver, I see you are progressing with every new one you carve.
Keep hammering out those tikis.

I really enjoy your two cedar pieces, there's nothing more aesthetic than letting your design work with the shape of the wood (for the most part). I also like the short ash tiki with the big round eyes. Were these all carved over this year?

Thank you for your encouragement, its hard to get good logs in the city. If a tree goes down it's cut in fire place size.

I started to carve this May in Florida. Really like carving cedar and Maple is not dad either. Right now I'm froze out from carving, to much snow in Michigan. Wish I was at my place in Florida carving a palm tree. LOL
