Campari as an exotic cocktail ingredient

Hi all,

I'm hoping the drinkers at tikicentral can help me out. My brother, myself and a friend of ours are trying to work with Campari as an exotic drink ingredient. Tough stuff, but the combination of flavors seems like it could work. Has anyone had success with this bitter & sweet liquor?

Try the "Jungle Bird" on page 44 of "Intoxica". If you don't have "Intoxica" rush out and buy it. Or order it here (get the "Grog Log" too if you don't already have it):

For a good apertif try the

Americano
1 oz. Campari
0.5 oz. sweet vermouth
Stir together in highball glass with ice cubes. Add club soda to fill. Garnish with orange wheel.

I am a big fan of the Edisonian.
2 oz. brandy
1 oz. Campari
1 oz. lemon juice

shaken and strained into a cocktail glass.
