I have that mug in brown. I got it from Tiki Farm about a year ago. |

Interesting as I too have this from Tiki Farm, but it is a thicker looking ceramic in a darker colored glaze. The detail doesn't come out as well as it does on yours as I just noticed the hands and the sharpness of the nose in the second pic. [ Edited by: Rattiki on 2003-07-08 07:54 ] |

I've seen this design elsewhere as well. Here's a site that offers salt & pepper shakers in this style: http://www.myriahs.com/publishtikipage/tikimug2.html |

I have the cookie jar and shakers #S386 pictured on that page. They are made by Clay Art. I bought them at the DeAnza College flea market last month. --cindy |

I have seen molds for this particular style. it is possible that your thinner ceramic mug is home-made... |

I have a mold for that tiki mug. The maker of the mold is Duncan. It's dated 1967. I cast a few to try it out. The thinner the better on that mold. The first 2 I cast were way too thick. The 3rd turned out great. I still have yet to fire and glaze my molds. |
