Hi, my first post. Thought everyone here should know about Kahala's new website. Kahala.com. Their creative director is the guy who wrote the famous Aloha Shirt book, Dale Hope. The site is pretty simple, but Kahala is one of my favorites and their history goes back to 1936. They still make product in Hawaii and Mr. Hope's prints are very cool. http://www.kahala.com [ Edited by: pauhana99 2009-02-27 00:37 ] |

Aloha and welcome! Do you work at Kahala? The designs are nice. I was wondering if they ever sell their fabric? Perhaps I could make a sarong dress for myself. [ Edited by: Haole'akamai 2009-02-27 15:20 ] |

I wonder why I can only find 9 Aloha shirts on their site. I just saw their new catalog, and there was an abstract shirt that reminded me so much of a pattern in Tiki Modern, but it's not on there. |

Hi, no I don't work there. I do live in Hawaii though and have been a customer of Kahala ever since Reyn's stopped making shirts in Hawaii. The Kahalas I buy are made in Hawaii. Not sure if everyone is aware of the best place to buy very high quality Tiki Torches. These are made by a friend of mine here in Hawaii. Very expensive, but they will last a lifetime.
