Rumor has it that Kona's in HB is becoming Don the Beachcomber! My sources told me that the deal apparently went down last night and is pretty much set in stone. Don't know what this means just yet, but regardless the news is good about this historic tiki establishment.

Sorry 'bout the repeat post. Didn't see it embedded in the other post:)

Ah Yeah! this couldn't be more perfect. I can't wait till this happens. Any word on when?

Yaaaaaaaay! That is wonderful news. I am sooo happy.

Not to ditract from this thread, however when is the down town Trader Vics

I heard that Trader Vic's in Las Vegas might be closing.

Anyone know anything about Tiki Caliente in Palm Springs this year?

Regarding Tiki Caliente

I'm trying to book my hotel room for Tiki Oasis but am having trouble. I called to hotel and they said the whole place is already booked/sold out that weekend. I also tried to find the Tiki Oasis web site, but there isn't one???
Is there even a Tiki Oasis website this year?

Buzzy are you trying to turn this random thread into even more of a random thread? Ya know....I guess that may be why we have a SEARCH function on this site....but then again that would be too easy. By the way I saw this tiki in a movie but I am not sure who the actor is. Tall and tan and talks really loud. I will post more on some other thread when I figure it out.

can you all send a letter to help save the Tonga room in SF?

Mahalo.
Jeff(bigtikidude)

This is the rarest and most widely sought after tiki item in all of tiki culture.

I am so jealous!
