While doing research for my definitive tome The Book of NOT TIKI!!! (A mere $18.96 at Amazon) I spent countless hours in stripper bars up and down the West Coast and eventually concluded: A stripper pole is not Tiki. You can put a stripper pole in your Tiki bar but to do so will practically guarantee a derisive snort and disgusted roll of the eyes from me. |
